This is Beginners Only (Magic Carpet). No lift access during these 4 classes.

Get ready for a frosty adventure with our 4-Day Early Season Snow Explorers program! Designed specifically for K-5th graders, this beginner-only series is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of skiing. Over the course of four fun-filled sessions, young skiers will learn the basics of skiing in a supportive and engaging environment. Our experienced instructors will guide the Snow Explorers through essential skills such as balance, turning, and stopping, ensuring that each child gains confidence on the slopes. With a focus on safety and fun, this program is an excellent way for kids to make new friends, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and discover the joy of skiing. PROGRAM DATES:

Our first day of this beginner only program is Tuesday, December 10th. 

 Before enrolling, please ensure that you/your student(s) are aware of and can adhere to the following:

• Age: Children must be enrolled from K - 5th Grade for the 24-25 school year, to participate.  No exceptions.  If we have questions about your student’s age or grade, we reserve the right to ask for a birth certificate copy.  If a copy cannot be provided/age cannot be verified, your student will be removed from the program without a refund.
• Lift Tickets / Passes: This program only uses the Magic Carpet (which is Green terrain). Participants enrolled in our early season programs will receive a pass valid for the 4 assigned days of the program. 
• Activity Bus:  In order for your student to take the activity bus from school to Snow King, you must sign up directly with the Activity Bus.  Snow King’s only involvement with Activity Bus is having a bus greeter walk your student from the bus stop to the indoor meeting location where they’ll get changed and wait for their lesson to begin.
• Terrain: Early season conditions exist; this program will only be accessing the Magic Carpet. Some runs may be limited. 
• Attendance: Please ensure your student’s attendance to the majority of lessons as excessive absence will result in your student falling behind and not having a group to ski with.
• Refunds/Cancelation Policy: Upon request, a full refund may be issued prior to December 1st, 2024. After this date, refunds will not be issued.  In the event of a class cancelation due to weather or community health crises (e.g. COVID), while highly unlikely, we reserve the right to cancel up to (2) sessions without a refund.

• Student Grouping: Students are grouped by ability.  To ensure fairness to all students in these programs, we do not accommodate ‘friend grouping requests.’

• Additional details: Items such as meeting location, check-in process, gear storage, etc. will be sent in early December, prior to the program start date.
